Ok, THAT was painful

Its the first day of spring, time to play! Or so I thought.

The boys have a new toy(Thanks Rick and Mary), its a rope toy. Simon picked it up and wanted to play. Simon playing and Gar within biting distance are not a good mix. I notice Gar has his eye on us. I'm thinking I can grab him before he gets to Simon. Throw the rope, Simon chases into the kitchen, Gar in pursuit. I grab, Gar pulls, and launches off my right big toe

On a pain scale of 1-10, that was a 20. Out of my two hurty big toe's, the right is the hurtyest(is that a word?).

When I could breath again, I put him in the hallway so I wouldn't kill him. I know its NOT his fault but that was beyond painful.

Toes always seem to get in the way...especially with big dogs! Mine have been stepped on quite often.
8O OUCH! 8O

Cindy
not good hope your toe gets better
OUCH! Good move to put Gar beyond reach. I hope the pain has gone away by now and no bruise. Yup, I've had similar foot/paw collisions. I don't wear shoes around the house most of the time, so big paws can find the foot easly, more Violet than the others, but all have had their turn.
