| When doing the food trial, be sure nothing else goes into the dog's mouth. You've likely already been told but no rawhide or other type of chews, no supplements not prescribed, toothpaste, cat food, litterbox treats, etc. Don't use beef flavor heartworm preventative... use topical instead. Nothing goes into the dog but the prescribed diet. Good luck to you! Hoping your baby will soon be much better. |
