| My sister called last night to say the surgery was postponed. The surgeon had an emergency. Brian isn't sure when the surgery will be, but it will be sometime next week. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers. The surgeon said half his liver will be removed. That doesn't sound good. |
| Oh that is rough. You all would have been psyching yourselves up to get this done and over with and him recovering. I will keep him in my thoughts! |

| UPDATE: My sister called me Saturday night. Brian had his surgery Saturday morning (the hospital called him late Friday night and told him to be there at 7am Satruday). He made it fine during the surgery and is in ICU. My sister will call the hospital Monday to see how he is doing. It's an odd relay of communication in our family. My other brother Steven and I do not speak to each other, and Steven is the one who is dealing with Brian. So Steven has to call my sister (and they barely speak) and sis has to call me... |
| I'm happy to hear that your brother finally had his surgery. Now he is on the other side and recovering. I hope he has an easy recovery. Family relations can sometimes be tempered. I'm glad you've found a way to communicate during this stressful time. |
