Sick Sheepies - Why so many?

Is it me or does it seem that there are a lot of Sheepies sick in the last week or so? It's weird; just off the top of my head there has been Bloo, Brick (honorary Sheepie), Bo, Lisa (OK, so she's not a Sheepie but she did report a problem with dear Frankie not that long ago AND she was at the ER too!) and our own Caity.

Caitlyn has an ear 'thingee' going on. She is an ear goo and ear hair machine. Keeping her ears clean and plucked seems like a fulltime job! I swear I need to pluck them almost every other day! And on top of this, just a couple days ago she developed another staph infection on her back. She's been on antibiotics Sind Saturday for that.

So what's up with all this anyway???

I dunno, Mully was at the vet yesterday as well. He's been worrying at his private parts ... sigh.
lola had projectile vomit for 2 days.....im assuming that she once again managed to hoover something in her mouth before i realized it....reconstituted dogfood was challenging to get out of off white carpet...sigh..

she is now back to her ''normal'' self...and i use that term lightly...
Butchy vomited on Sunday but seems to be ok now.
Could it be the holidays? I know they cause stress for people and pets.
All day vet visit for Abby yesterday :(

I cant at the moment remember the name of the "syndrome" Taylor's syndrome maybe? But it involved the inner eyelid coming up over her whole left eye, plus the lower eyelid drooping down. Scary! She's ok, but tests, tests, tests, as this can be a symptom of several different neurological problems.

All of you sick sheepie folks have my sympathy! :ghug:
Well bloo is all better now.
He still has that lump on his lip so will have to get that removed if it's an absess. Hopefully theyll be able to remove it from underneath as I can't cut his fur..
When the lump has gone bloo will be all better. **touch wood**
Hmm...people have been sick too. Maybe its the time of year, change in weather or stress from the holidays? Everyone, human and canine seem to be feeling under the weather around here...
I just had the sick daughter with her pregnancy, resulting in needing to induce labor at 32 weeks.
Otherwise we are all healthy. And all 7 dogs here are healthy as well. ..knocking on wood too!
Can dogs get a stomach flu? If so I am pretty sure am pretty sure that Leonard had something. We are very careful not to feed him people food so I don't think it was something he ate. After our walk today he came home, fell asleep and then woke up and started puking. He fell asleep on my feet and didn't move at all for about 6 hours even when I tried to give him belly rubs he didn't wake up. This is very unlike Leonard, he didn't even want to "go outside" or "play". He has only just woken up and is drinking now and playing with Ru/ harassing me for affection. Apart from needing a really good beard washing (stinky pukey beard... yuck) he is drinking and seems to be feeling a bit better. We will try food later. I guess he is following the sheepie trend.
