Ho Ho Ho...Home with my Sick Bo!

Poor Bowie woke me up at 1 am this morning, needing to go out. Out he went, and so did I, and he had some super loose poop. Came in and at 3 am woke me up again, this time vomiting...Suspecting he may have picked up something with all the contaminate flood water that is probably still in our lawn, gave him a Flagel.

Made him some boiled chop meat and rice for breakfast at about 9 am and he was anxious to eat it. Now 11:30, kept everything down and other than a bit tired, he seems okay. Just went outside with Daddy and sister Bella so seems somewhat active.

Think we may have giardi present?

Hope your start to the day was better than mine!

Poor Bowie - hope he's feeling better. :D

My day was better (marginally)....was awoke 15 minutes before my alarm at 5:15 to let dogs out. Senior basset Harley is the culprit - he has to pee and wakes everyone up! So let them all out in our -5F morning.....fed dogs, refilled waters, washed Bond's face (neglected while I've been gone w/ daughter in hospital), dried his face, did a little brushing on both Chewie and Bond, packed my lunch, cleaned the toilet, took a shower....and raced out the door at 6:35 to drive to work! :?
No vomiting or peeing, just one inside poop....Christmas present? One emergency run outside by the pooper about 1:30 a.m......for a drink :headbang: We stayed out until she peed.

No sleep last night. Friend's son died and had funeral yesterday. Lots of work to feed the attendees, missed church last night....fell asleep. Then missed this a.m. because I didn't get to sleep until 4:30.

Christmas roast is still frozen for leftovers for Christmas. Drinking mimosas, may not care by Noon.

Hope Bowie is feeling better :santa2:
Found out from a neighbor who has two dogs that her dogs have been experienceing the same symptoms. Just makes me think, yes, giardi from the contaminated water still in the soil. Bowie seems to be better. Eating and playing and keeping everything down. last poop was better. Not great. But better.

Good to know he's feeling a bit better.
Poor Bowie, as if your family needed something else. Hope he is on the mend!
