Spent the day at Urgent Care
Thought I better go today, instead of risking being sick on Christmas. I got 2 shots, and have to take antibiotics for 10 days. They want to see me in 2 days. I have a red line traveling up my arm. That's where the concern is. Darn cat. I haven't kicked her out yet. But she's treading on thin ice. With me that is  Lisa Frankie and Mattie |

| I have been in your spot too, so I know exactly what you are going through!!!! My pet cat did this about 15 years ago. It's amazing how fast a cat bite infection will travel. I had the red line the next day, but never saw mine until the doctor in the ER showed it to me. I thought I would only get a tetanus shot and go home....wrong!!!! I spent 3 days in the hospital with mine. I have a hip replacement and I needed IV antibiotics with my cat bite. Ugh....it was painful too. |
| Yep, if you have a replacement you are far more likely to have serious complications from an infection. Bet you take antibiotics before going in for a dental cleaning. DH doesn't understand the need, fortunately his wife does. Cat bites are nasty, hope the antibiotics kick in quickly. |

| Arrrggggg!!! I'm so sorry that happened Lisa, and hope you are feeling better this morning. Not being a cat fan in the least, this makes me feel all better about it. Maybe a few sheepie licks will make it all better  |

| Yep, I had cat scratch fever a number of years ago. I survived, and so did kitty. Glad you're taking care of it so quickly! Hope you have a speedy recovery.  |
