Ingrown Hair?
I got all that I could out, but her paw remains hot and red and she doesn't seem very excited about today. Has this happened to anyone else's babe?  |

| Not on a foot but Sprocket gets a couple of hairs in the nose end corner of his eyes that grow into his eyes. I have to keep gently easing them away on daily clean untill they are long enough to trim off. He is very good and just lets me as I think he realises I am stopping the "nasty sore bit". He always had very mucky runny eyes. The vet did say at check up he could have them surgicly removed everytime they grow- I don't like anesthetic on sheepies, if I can avoid it I do.x |
| Luckily, Bones is the same way! And to update, the paw in question's inflammation has completely dissipated; in fact, within hours of my excavating the pore(?), she became more active/seemed more comfortable and stopped licking the area. Still curious as to whether or not this has ever happened to anyone else. So weird! |
