And this is why my husband washes the dog and not me!!!!
thanks for the tips! (it wouldn't work I think...)
Looks like you have a nice setup there!! I think with time.. both you and doggie learn together. :)

Mine gives me that pathetic "is it really bath time" look but walks into the tub herself, walks out with just one step over (instead of jumping), and doesn't shake when wet (and it helps to get them to lay down immediately after they get out), so it really does get better with time. I find my husband and I both have different techniques that each work well, so as long as it gets done... I'm happy! :)
ok, I'm really thinking about carwash...
In Belgium we have dog wash, place with shower, dryer... you go back home with you rdog and not with cleaning labour....
sorry no help here but love the pics
I just grab some beach wear (bikini and board shorts) and jump in with her. Any way I bathe her, I'm getting a bath too.
that the solution thanks...but no bikini available for me
Carl, one of the guys here, created a dog grooming area by setting a bathtub up on a platform. No bending over to wash the dog!

Yes, I've taken my dogs to a dog bathing shop, we all got wet but my back felt much better afterwards.
The self dog bathing shops are starting to pop up around here in Florida. One is in Melbourne. I take my dogs into the shower to wash, Violet and Asia will sloooowly walk to the shower, with my assistance at their side to they don't get averted. China, on the other hand, Chuck has to carry her to the shower. They are all good once they get in and when done, wait for the command to "shake", it's the getting there that they don't like.
Sprocket vanishes when he sees the towels going upstairs! I find wearing as fewer clothes as possible helps-easier to just dry my legs etc. As for Flufalump-once he is the the bath he sits there looking sorry for himself with his head dripping on the floor. The bathroom has a nice clean up after!!takes longer than the dog bath. A drive through dog wash would be a good idea! You sure you couldn't wear a bikini? It would make us smile!x
smile? But bikini fit me really good lol....
i think to bath shop, maybe just for my back and for bathroom walls!!
I think of it as a pre-soak, as I always clean my bathroom after the dog baths. :D I usually only bathe my short coated dogs at home though.

We have the self dog washes here too - the ones at the car washes. They work well, but make you hurry, as they are on a timer. (Like the car washes). :(

Lucky me, I have access to a raised tub (stainless steel) with a ramp, all the towels and a dog dryer where I teach dog training classes. All I need to bring is my own shampoos and conditioner. And my employee rate is $5 per dog! :D :D

and the adjacent dog pool!
love dog pool, good idea!

It is for recreational swimming, but also for rehab and weight loss exercise. In the opposite side from the bathing tubs, is an underwater treadmill too. It's a beautiful place!
thalasso are not so beautifull for human here!
