It. Is. Here.

The 6 pound tin of individually wrapped Harry London chocolates that I ordered has arrived. Mine, all mine!

I opened the tin, had 4 candies over the course of the evening, and put the tin in the garage. It is going to work to keep it safe from me until Christmas. No lie, it would be gone by Christmas Day. My sister and I said "6 pounds is a week's worth."

I'm just excited that I ordered candy and didn't hear my mother nagging me.

Sounds so yummy, I would have a hard time waiting until Christmas.
I'm proud of you Paula.
I ordered 2 boxes of candy that I was going to mail to friends.
I opened one already and started to eat it.

Now I have to order more.

Lisa Frankie and Mattie
Only 4 candies 8O I eat what is in front of me. Although I might have trouble eating 6lb box.
When it is a really big box Russ hides some for me, fortunately he does not have a sweet tooth so I can trust him not to eat them.
I love British chocolate - galaxy which we can only get at he British import shop in Calgary so for Christmas my sister and parents only send me chocolate.
hi, do you know that Belgium is chocolate country specialty? Known through the world for that, maybe not in usa? Some trademark are, Galler, Leonidas, Corné Port Royal, Côte d'Or, Callebaut, ....sluurppp!
don't get too fat on them :) or you can send every one with there xmas cards & that would help you out so much ;)
I just did something similar, not chocolate, but I went to the Quebec liquor store and I bought a big box of various Belgian beers! They're supposed to be for a special Belgian night on Dec. 22, but I will have a hard time not drinking a few of them before!
The chocolates won't be safe at work either, if they were mine.
I will give the tin to my co-worker and tell her to lock it up. She already has custody of a box of Candy Cane Joe-Joes (from Trader Joes's--their version of Oreos with peppermint cream). If it's not in my kitchen, I won't eat it. I didn't even remember the tin was in my garage until I saw it. However, give me a bad day at work and that tin will be gone by half!
I really like peppermint with chocolat, here it's call "after height"...
David, you did the best thing to do : )

I know Côte d'Or and Callebaut. Bernard Callebaut is in Calgary.
I like smooth, rich, milk chocolate. Which of the Belgium chocolates is the best quality?
Harry London's????? Made right in the town next to me....about 7 miles away! My candy goes on the top shelf of my cupboards. Now that I am older & "shrinking" in height, I need a step stool to get anything off those shelves. Makes me think at least twice about eating the stuff before Christmas. 8O
I have never tried Harry London's.
Last year I got chocolate of the month club as a present from my husband. There was only one month where I loved the chocolate, but the company that made it is in Ontario and does not do mail order........ how disappointing.
In Canada Chocolate of the month club is only Canadian chocolatiers but in the USA I think you get some European chocolates which I would have liked better.
It's a fun event receiving a surprise box of chocolates in the mail.
Tanja - what was the Ontario chocolate that you liked so much?
Yummmmm!

Cindy
Hmmmmmmm....there may be a garage I will be visiting tonight...Izzie has always wanted to try cat-burgling. You only live down the street :lmt: :lmt: On the other hand, Izzie may not truly understand what cat-burgling means 8) 8). Especially considering she can't eat chocolate 8O

It is Anna Tolazzi she is in Kitchner Waterloo. I found them good quality, the fillings just tasted more special than the a regular box of chocolates.

MontyQs, you must avoid industrial chocolates, which are very good, but here one of the best I've taste in Wavre near home
