Is Violet confused about how to use a doggie bed?

| Yep under the curtains on the tile is Tiggy's favorite place to sleep too. The best spot here (in her opinion) is under the curtains in the living room with her chin on the corner of Rastus' very large dog bed. She takes up the tiniest bit of the corner but that means Rastus won't sleep on it so he sooks. It's got girl germs on it if Tiggy is on it so he will have nothing to do with it. Mim |
Maybe you have to SHOW her how to use it. You lay on it first and she may join you   |

I've caught her sleeping once or twice with just one paw on the bed. If I would have known that is all she needed, I would have bought a "cat" bed for her, just large enouge to rest her paw. lol I did catch her sleeping on her bed the other night for a little while. During the day, when she sleeps with Chuck (he works nights so sleeps most of the day) she usually sleeps up on our bed. sigh |
That's so cute.  She loves the curtain more than the bed. The curtains smells like home, the bed need more time to smell as safe an nice like the curtain.  |
| Ha ha! Jake was like that; he never figured out how to use a doggie bed. I guess they were beneath him. He preferred the floor or a real bed. Mulligan does go up onto his foam doggie bed, does 27 cirlces, uncovers it from its sheet; digs at the sheet, bites the sheet, digs at the sheet, bites and pulls on the sheet, grumbles gruffs, buries his nose in the sheet, uncovers it some more, does 32 more circles then lies down with a "whoooomph".
