George's Hips?

Hi!

Been a little concerned about George's hips. He turned 1 a few weeks ago. For a few months I've noticed his joints clicking when he stands up and sometimes he seems to be a little stiff when he stands, he'll stand his front legs up just fine but it'll take him a second to pick his lower half off of the floor.

Recently he's started doing this weird thing when standing up from being laid down for a while, he looks like he's air humping but looks a bit involuntary, he looks a bit confused by it himself. I noticed it just after he was neutered and thought it might have been hormones confusing him, but he's been neutered for a few months now. He always did hump ever since he was tiny. the only thing that made me think it was related was that it always seems to be after he's stood up and seemed stiff. My mum brought it up and said maybe his leg hurts. Now I'm thinking of it, sometimes he's stand up and he'd limp about a bit, we assumed his leg was dead because he'd been leaning on it, but thought I'd mention just in case.

My mum said a while ago she thought one of his legs was less muscly than the other, but I've not noticed. He has no problem running around, in fact he LOVES running as fast as he can, so I'm not sure what to think. I've Googled it and someone said it could be growing pains but I thought I'd ask you guys because you guys are experts!

I know you'll tell me to see the vet, and I will. But thought I'd get some opinions in the meantime. And also in the meantime, any ideas how to help him along a bit? Trying to keep the rooms he sleeps in warm, and also we gave him a bed and he tore it up, but he's okay with the cushion from it, but tends still to sleep on the hard floor. So he doesn't help himself!!!

Thanks for reading this really long post!

and just because I know you guys love pics, here is a pic of him being silly
