Frankie is having surgery tomorrow

Frankie is going in Thursday to have his teeth cleaned, and get a growth on his leg removed.
As usual moms already nervous.
While he's under, I'm having his hips x-rayed. We know there probably isn't much change for the good, but having something to compare too is a good reference.
Please keep Frankie in your thoughts tomorrow.

Good luck Frankie, after tomorrow you will be able to smile all the time with your clean white teeth.
Hope the hip xrays don't show anything worse... and there is nothing I love more than kisses after a teeth cleaning!!! Yuki gets one every other year, and I have to look at her teeth like 50 times b/c I'm always so impressed.
:hearts: :hearts: :hearts: Everything crossed for Frankie and you. :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
Good luck Frankie!!

Thinking of Frankie today. :crossed: :crossed: :crossed:
Hope all went well with Frankie's surgery today--just checking in to see if there was an update.
I hope Frankie is doin OK... And mommy too.
Frankie's surgery went well. The growth was just a blocked sebaceous gland, so no concern.
Frankie cried and whined until about 3 am, then settled in his crate.
Pretty whiney this morning. He did eat, and finally peed this morning.
I think the crying is from the drugs.
Will update more later.

Good news!!!!! I remember the vet telling us that they try to keep animals overnight from the bigger surgeries because when they come out of the anethesia they do alot of whining, whimpering and crying. I don't think they are aware they are doing it. My husband wanted to bring Pooh Bear from one of his surgeries and they advised against it otherwise we would have been up all night with him.
Congrats again on the good news!
Glad he's doing good, and you got good news too.

One thought - my chocolate lab Macy was that way after surgery, and I finally figured out it was from the pain meds. She had that as a bad reaction from them. She had a couple big surgeries in her senior years, and I finally just stopped the pain meds...and voile! she was SO much better. Seems backwards, but it was like night and day difference.
Good to hear he's doing okay...and that's wonderful about the growth!!! Whew...
Just saw your post about Frankie's surgery. Hoping for a good news today.
When you get a chance, please give us an update on how everything went.

Sending positive healing energy Frankie's way!
