question post spay for our sheepdog puppy bexley

our sweet girl Bexley just got spayed on Thursday. She has done really well. She is currently wearing a comfy cone to keep her from licking. We have been closely watching the incision and noticed that it's a little inflamed and oozing clear liquid. The vet said on Thursday it might ooze a bit, but should it be oozing three days out?? Is it ok if it's a little inflamed?

Can you tell I'm an overprotective sheepdog mom??? :)

Some drainage and crusting at the incision site is to be expected, as is some swelling and redness, but there should be steady improvement. If the incision site fails to improve or worsens in appearance, this can indicate an infection or other abnormalities that require veterinary attention.

Thank you! That makes me feel a lot better. It looks better this morning.
