Compressed popcorn rectangles, blocks, blue and pink

Help! I am trying to find any info on a concession stand treat from many years ago.

I remember it as being popcorn pressed into the shape of a rectangular log. I sorta maybe remember it in a yellow package. Joan remembers them in blue and pink rectangles.

I seem to remember them in cellophane wrappers maybe twisted at the ends, Joan remembers them maybe in cellophane but folded over and sealed.

We both remember getting them at beaches from concession stands: I remember getting them at "Houghton's Pond" from the little building there that sold snacks. Joan remembers them from concessions stands on boardwalks along the beach. The similarity is ... at the beach! I don't know if you could get them at carnivals. Seems like a natural fit there, too.

I have tried searching for
popcorn bricks
rectangular popcorn logs
and lots of other permutations of that but no luck!

Anybody remember these, and if you do... what were they called? Who made them? Where did you get yours? What else do you remember about them?

Thanks!

I'm assuming they were sweet.....popcorn balls.....or any shape you desire. I see them at fairs, baseball park, or from the Popcorn Cannery. Many people make their own but homemade usually has more sugary glue.....almost like carmel corn glued together. I prefer the less sweet/more popcorn version. Haven't had them in years. And yes, I remember them more in colorful wrappings. Just depended on the manufacturer.
I remember buying popcorn blocks that had 4 colors each with a different flavor.. they were a brick shape wrapped in celophane and cheap. I worked on the fishing boats and if the weather made a choppy sea they were the perfect antidote to seasickness.
I never heard of them before. BUT, there is a store in Jordan, MN called the Worlds Largest Candy Store. It opens Mother's Day weekend. (I won't be there that day  ) When I do go, I will look and ask if they have them. This store has candy I remember as a kid. I have no clue where they get these items because they haven't been available for years. The even have all kinds of root beer, if anyone remembers Dad's Root Beer. Remember candy cigarettes? Waxed lips, giant jaw breakers? They got em! . Google the name and it shows all kinds of pictures. I go early in the morning and there when it opens. I can look around and shop b/4 it gets crowded. They only take checks and cash. I'll let you know what I find out.
Yummy!
