| Read the title and immediately thought UTI. Glad you got the diagnosis and drugs. It may take 24 hours to show improvement...there is a bit of lag time a lot of time before the ABX can overpower the bacteria. Encourage lots of fluids  |

| I couldn't believe how dark red and bloody the urine was. My 21 year old got home and found a yard stick duck taped to a tupperware container with the remnants of dark bloody liquid in the kitchen sink. (I know, gross, but I was in a hurry to get him to the vet). He was thinking, what the hell is mom up too?? I wiped the tip of his pee pee when he came in this morning and it was still bloody. Keeping a close eye on him. He has free range of fresh water. |
