Angus and his cysts

Dropped off Angus at the vet this morning to get his cysts removed. Such a strange feeling to go to the vet so early this morning. Last time we went in this early is when we took Pooh Bear down to put him asleep. Felt tears coming. They will send in samples of his cysts to get them checked out, but preliminary drawn fluid samples showed no unusual cells. I guess I'm just a bit paranoid from the cancerous cysts diagnosis that Pooh had. I know Angus is in good hands today and they will call when he is out of surgery. Trying to think positive.

Good luck Angus!!
The vet just called and the surgery went well. They are preparing the tissue sample and surrounding tissue area to be sent in for a biopsy. So, now it's just a wait and see. I was hoping he would have said it was just a fatty limpoma, but I am trying to be positive.

I have my fingers crossed and I asked mulligan to cross his paws. He didn't understand but he tilted his head for Angus.
Thanks for the positive thoughts. Picked up Angus yesterday afternoon and was wearing the "cone". Has anyone tried the softer cones? Are they better? He incision is about 4-5 inches long since they wanted to get samples of the surrounding tissue to send in with the cyst. It'll be 4-5 days before we get the results. I am trying to be positive the results will be negative. But like I mentioned before, after Pooh's diagnosis of his cyst, I am worried. He's only 2 and we need him to be with us for a long time. He is doing ok. Gave him a Rimadyl this morning. Poor thing, just followed me all over the house while I was trying to get ready for work. I think he would have climbed in the shower with me if he could. He didn't know what to do with himself, he seemed so lost. I felt so bad for him. Gave him lots of hugs.
:( :( Poor little guy :( :( Give him some :ghug: and   from me and 'High Paw' from Oliver. Keeping positive thoughts for Angus and you. :ghug: :hearts: :hearts:
Hugs :ghug: to you both. Keeping fingers and paws crossed for good news.

Checking in to see how Angus is doing today.

Sending you both a big hug! :ghug:
Angus is doing better today. He's not very fond of the "plastic halo", but he gets a break from it while we are at home with him. He's getting energy back and it'll be hard to keep him rather quiet for a few days. On pins and needles waiting for the biopsy reports. Thanks for asking!
Glad to hear the surgery went well and Angus is
recovering. Hoping for good news on the biopsy. :crossed:
