Is it Tick season?
All the years that I've had dogs, I've never had one that had ticks. I'm quite surprised, as he is an indoor guy and goes out on a leash for potty and his daily walks. Anybody out there had any experience with Ticks on their dogs? What preventatives are best? |

| This isn't about a dog, but I had a tick sucking on the back of my head a few weeks ago. It scared me alot as I picked off what I thought was just a scab (didn't know what it was until it was in my hand). |
| It's always tick season here. We hardly ever have much of a winter, but yeah...it's time for them. I took the boys fishing in my parents' pond in the middle of the woods the other day, and I found at least one on each of us! |
