There have been some nice brags here and there. Marilyn Vogt and her beautiful veteran bitch, Dawn has a bunch of them ranging from breed, performance and juniors (her granddaughter). Cindy did a lovely job in brace with her boy and his half brother. Judi's Harry impressed the hell out of the obedience and agility judges, so ribbon count is deceptive in his case. Val's Heart :hearts: got her second Companion Dog (novice obedience title) leg. Jade and little Ms Eevee joined the ranks of performance competitors. Karen showed Murphy and did a lovely job on their collective debut; Judi showed Harry in Veteran Sweeps and Veteran dogs and looked like they belonged despite it being the first time in the breed ring for both of them - very cool.I'm sure I'm missing someone.

Judi & committee did a fabulous job of organizing the Therapy Dog Parade. We also had the customary rescue dog parade. I had Dazzle in that and no one got hurt, so I considered that a big success.

I finished a couple of performance titles on my girls and the puppy bitches showed well - one was in the ribbons in both sweeps and breed, the other was in bred-by, which she really is not mature enough for, but I wanted to show her and I don't let anyone else handle my dogs. It was their first show and though they were a bit wiggly, they had a good time and moved well, meaning neither of them dragged me flat onto my backside or sent me flying into the spectator area - both of which seemed like distinct possibilities as late as two weeks before the show. Co-breeder and stud dog owner got to see them in action and are very happy, which makes me happy.

Mostly as co and performance chair I worked my tail off, but despite that, and with many thanks to the fabulous specialty committee as well as wonderful exhibitors and guests I still had a blast and got to talk to old friends & make some new ones. It was hectic, but fun.

For more results - and this is still being added to (herding, sweeps, the regional and the annual match are not up yet)/will look better when all is said and done, you can go to: http://www.oldenglishsheepdogclubofamer ... esults.php
