Bumps near bum-picture

I am going to give the vet a call. But thought I would ask here first. Anyone know what this is?? He has a couple smaller ones too.

That actually is where the tail should be not so close to the 'anal area'.
:? Ticks?
Chewie has one like that, had it for years. OES breeder/vet Amy said just to leave it alone.
Brick has a few of them in different locations.
Forgot what the vet called them, but she said they were no worry. I'll try to grab a few pics later.

I call 'em warts.
No not a tick. Vet just said I should bring him in. Just in case.
Beau has those, too. Vet wasn't concerned.
Yeah, just leave it. It's like a mole. Don't squeeze or pick. If it starts growing it will have to come off, but most likely will be part of the rear experiece forever. We have black ones and white ones depending on the skin below.
Well I think I will spend the 80 bucks, bla! and make sure. It looks like it could pop for some reason. eeeeW! He goes Thursday.
Looks warty to me. Best for the vet to check.

Let's know what they think?

:ghug:
I've seen those before too, like a mole I think, doesn't look red or inflamed at all so I would just leave it.
Like the others, Yuki has some too. I always ignored them since they weren't inflamed, pussy or growing..
Max has them too. Vet has always said they are harmless--- but best to have it checked out, just in case.
Well it seemed to double in size. Looks ready to pop. Taking him in on Thursday. Thanks for the help and reassurance. I feel better.
A Sebaceous cyst most often arise from swollen hair follicles. Skin trauma can also induce a cyst to form. A sac of cells is created into which a protein called keratin is secreted.
These cysts are usually found on the face, neck, and trunk. They are usually slow- growing, painless, freely movable lumps beneath the skin. Occasionally, however, a cyst will become inflamed and tender. Cyst a closed sac under the skin filled with a cheese-like or oily material.

Just keep an eye. If there is trauma near or at the cyst he has a lump on his hip too but harder it could become a problem. He is such a great vet.
While I was there he ask how they are doing, notice anything else. I brought up jokingly how Langley is so lazy. So lazy that Laika will go runny from the bed at night (or day all the time!) if she hears a car go by and barks her fool head off and he just lays there. Well in saying that he asked more about her and I mentioned that since the move how she goes crazy at every car going by the house. So he said I should go to there website go through all the remedies and pick the ones that describes how she is and acts. Hopefully in three weeks she will settle down. That would be AWESOME! makes me crazy. http://www.cbah.ca/index.php/sample-sites-2

This is what I came up with
VERVAIN

WALNUT

CHERRY PLUM

CHICORY

ELM

MIMULUS

RED CHESTNUT

CHESTNUT BUD
My sheepdog had one and it kept growing, we had it surgically removed.
