anti mate bitch spray?

Has anyone ever used this sort of product? The reason I ask is we are going away for a week, taking both dogs of course, self catering, and Summer has decided to come into season! It just means we shant be able to go on lovely long walks, I dont fancy dogs following us! Mind you I think it is only the second time it has happened in 40 years of keeping dogs so not bad.

You might also consider pants to contain the smell........until she needs to pee and spread her special aroma all over the place.

You'll be popular.
Dont rely on it all it does is mask the smell a bit. Used it once and really just a perfume that really does not block the scent of a girl in heat

Tell summer what a rotten time to come in :P

Panties on, on holidays always on the lead to potty or outside, best wishes with the trip away, fun times ahead, think she'll be a really popular girl !! 8)
One thing you can try is chlorophyll tabs. They eat them, and supposedly it helps tone down the scent. You buy them at a health food store (they are sold for humans), or one that sells natural medicines and supplements. I don't know what they are really for, but my parents used them all the time when we had bitches in heat.
Oh what fun! Sorry, no experience since I've never had an intact female. Just best wishes for a great holiday!
8O we did have a good time. I will post a few photos later. So funny when we got there it was warm so folks were sitting outside their chalets. On one side of our chalet was a small bitch, on the other side a tiny Chihuahua, male! it was on a long bit or rope and followed us into our chalet :twitch: :lmt: you could see it thinking "Someone please find me something to stand on! I cant reach!" Its owner dragged it out saying how sorry he was. When the coast was clear I sprayed disinfect round the door. Made sure Summer weed away from the chalets! Not too bad really it was just a shame I couldnt let her off lead, but as I explained to her better than being in kennels! :wag:
