Tomato and ummm doggy doo

Ever feed your dog tomato's? The meat digests but not the skin.

I had taken the dogs for a walk and Simon pooped. Scared me to see the bright red in his poop. As I picked it up I looked closer and realized it was the skin.

Bella is my tomato thief. This year we even put up a fence and gate to keep them out of the garden. I picked tomatoes and peppers last weekend and made sauce. I had a few remaining tomatoes left and a boat load of peppers both sweet and hot. I left them on the counter and came home from work and found 1 tomato and 1 cherry pepper in her bed. they are both the same size. I think she tasted the pepper first and got a little "heat" and thought..."what did mom do to my lovely tomatoes this year???? they were soooooo yummy last year" :twitch:
Don't remember the skin problem. But still remember giant beefstakes being crushed inside an St. Bernard's mouth......impressive and messy.

Adorable tomato thief in picture. Was the mouth tainted pink?
My parents' dog, Cooper is one of them! For the longest time my parents thought the squirrels were stealing tomatoes from their yard until one night they heard a loud crash outside and caught Cooper stealing a tomato. He had knocked down a pot while weaving through the garden fence.

Smart sheepie, waited till night time to steal tomatoes. :cheer:
Bloo doesnt like tomatoes, he spits them out his meat very dramatically lol...but its just as freaky to find orange poop. (He loves carrots!) :)
My son's Min Pin Dino LOVES tomatoes. He even uses his teeth as can openers to pop the seals on just-canned jars cooling on the floor (I had removed the rings). SNEAKY!
Ava likes them too! I had no idea that she'd go after them, and I had a bunch sitting in a colander on the table. I walked back in, and there's Ava, munching away on a juicy ripe tomato. Needless to say, they got put away, up higher.
Mine would delicately pick the cherry tomatoes :)
Speaking of stuff in poop. I hate when Langley eats grass. He had to go into the tub today because of a grass graze last night :(
