We have a few of those places here near me  In our small town we have a general store with a garage attached (kind of mayberry like) The owner does not take credit cards cash and check only. If you don't have enough money (I never carry my check book anymore) you write what you own in a marble note book and pay next time.............I love my po dunk town  |
| We have a friend who runs a fall pumpkin/gourd/straw bales stand in his church parking lot. It's huge and it's all done with a self pay drop box. He is an independent hay seller too. I had pictures last fall with Chewie and Riley there.... Click through for fullsize image:   |
We had something similar in the market near us for a while, but one evening the drop box was stolen, and it stopped. It almost made me feel bad for stealing that drop box.  (just kidding!)  |
