Suggestions for a grooming table?

Anyone have suggestions for a portable grooming table? Are the cheaper ones durable enough for a full grown sheepie? Or would they be shaky? It seems that I need to order online since I can't find one in any of the stores locally, so I'd like as much info as possible before forking over the bucks.

We've had this one for about 6 yrs - hauled all over for shows, as well as daily home use:

It's our smaller table - I have our larger black one for home, this one (yes - the bright pink!) is my daughter's, but also the more portable size - so it's the one that goes to shows.

We have one of the above but PURPLE and love it. I doubt you'll find a better one for the money. We paid $89 with arm and loop for ours through PetEdge.

Here is ours -

Thanks! This is exactly the one I was looking at but was a little worried since it was the cheapest.
we need something for Summer. But we tried her on a normal table with blankets so she didnt slip and she just hit the deck. I dont think she likes heights, you should see her coming downstairs! She does it very carefully and Tilly stands at the foot of the stairs telling her to be careful! Summers bum seems too heavy and she looks as if she is going to tip forward... :clappurple: :clappurple:
What has been suggeted above is very accurate. One important thing to remember is to get the correct size. I have a 48" table which is good for my larger dogs (generally the males) & I also use it for the smaller girls. Only drawback is it is heavier if you are looking at hauling it from home to a show or elswhere. If you are looking at just taking it out of the closet to set it up for grooming then there isn't a problem. Most of the boys can be comfortable on a 44" table & for the most part, the girls are smaller & that is plenty big for them. Most importantly is that the dog be able to lay on it's side comfortably without having the feeling of its body hanging off the ends, for grooming. Height adjustment on the legs is helpful for most people.
I have the same one as Vance and Dawn but in BLue.... It's a great table and Schubert loves climbing up to get groomed but it's too small for Schubert and he sticks out the edge.. He's become a big boy.
We got a bargain the other week from a car boot sale. Picked up a really large square coffee table, for 50p! A keep fit mat for £1! Hubby screwed the rubber mat to the coffee table. Hey presto! Summer sits beautifully on the table and we sit on chairs to groom her!
Nothing wrong with that approach, Sue! Very innovative 8)
