Does he have an infection??

My Lenny has had a really bad eye lately where there is greenish slime coming out of it. I have bathed it with warm water and it has done nothing. He always has sleep in his eyes in the morning but this is completely different. I dont know what to do... Any advice..

He probably has conjuntivitis. He needs to get to the vet to be examined. Vet will probably give you a salve to put into his eye 2-3 times a day until it is cleared up. CAUTION: Don't put anything into his eye except what the vet recommends.
Conjuntivitis for sure Almost all cases are bacterial infection with the pus-like exudate. The drops or goop in the eye 3 or 4 times a day usually clears it right up. there is also a follicular conjunctivis where the conjuctival sac has little red bumps. That sometimes needs some little surgery to remove.

If the proplem persists, don't mess around. There are other more serious possibilities including KCS a dry eye conjunctivitis, inverted eyelashes brushing against the eyeball which can cause damage to the cornea.

Then again, your pup may have allergies..........
