OK, I give - what kind of rollers and what do you intend to do with them? 8)

I think ceramic is better.

  My thinking too! Apparently they do but long out of my catalog since I cut it less than an inch.

I would think ceramic would hold heat better so would be slower to cool down, but may be kinder to the hair. Just spouting with no back up.
A 110 light socket should do the trick and much faster too!

Vance
I don't know which is better, but in your defense I do, periodically, use ceramic heated rollers and also curling iron. lol
Hahahaha I thought it was for a sheepie. I am glad it is not. Byw ceramic.
I had no clue either about what this was!

None of the above...my hair is so thick I have more volume removed with every cut than I have removed in length. My goal is to make it lay right...not make more volume!

I shampoo, blow dry w/ finger combing. Haven't used a comb or brush (on myself that is) for years and years. :)

See, I thought maybe it was for Parwaz :-) i was going to ask for pictures... :sidestep:

My hair is too long to respond to curlers, so no help here, sorry.

Kristine
I dont use curlers or rollers.
My hairs too long to hold curls, so i use straighteners to curl/kink it :)
I've never heard of wax filled rollers. Go with ceramic. What if the wax melted and leaked all down Lori's face?????
i use both the ceramic kind and the velco kind....the ceramic on ''dirty'' hair days to give some oomph to day old hair style...and the velcro after i blow dry...i put them in shoot it with some hairspray, then finish getting dressed....out they come and volume!!!!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. If I added more volume to this hair, I'd have an afro. And not a cute one. I can't even blow dry this mess unless I am VERY careful.

I would go for the ceramic - I have a ceramic flattening iron that works wonders.
