Or any of the others... Look at Abby's face! How could you turn away from that?

Based soley on the pictures, I would take Einstein in a second.
I am talking to Jason about joining TxOESR - and whether we can handle being fosters here in NM. With two sheepies, two cats, kids and ferrets, I'm not sure yet. But after rescuing Lacy, we feel compelled to help rescue in some way. I'm surprised by the number of dogs they have! Wowsa!
I'm with you Roz. That's why I've offered help out Nita and Madeline anytime the need it. They have their hands full and every little bit of help is a huge thing. Even me doing a home inspection helps them out in big ways. Offer to help them anyway you both can arrange and I'm sure they'd be grateful.

OK, I'll take them all..........

Not really until these two make their final journey.
There are so many ways to volunteer - foster, transport, do fundraisers, home checks, help people with behavioral/training issues so maybe they will KEEP their dog, or do training to make problem dogs more adoptable, you name it!
 Do you think we could rally and ask them to break their policy just this once to send a sheepie to NJ
If my house was nearing completion (no, I haven't even started yet), I'd for sure be taking a road trip to TX to check them pups out!
I want Einstein and Nanny! So cute!!
I swear they had no dogs listed two weeks ago - and for a couple of weeks prior to that.

I want them all, though Max would be tough since we have other dogs.
I'm fostering Nanny. She is the absolute definition of a Sheepdog. She loves everyone, other dogs, cats and kids. She spent most of her life outside in the TX weather because she had an incontinence issue. We have been working on her problem and have reached what appears to be the right medication for her. She is house trained and is a dream on leash. Nanny is a "sturdy" gal and when she is down to her best weight, she will be around 70-75lbs. She is learning to fetch and she swims like a lab when chasing the ball into the pool. I can't say enough about how sweet and loving she is.
:clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: love swimmin' sheepies

Hi, I actually fostered Baby. She was a wonderful sheepie! She now lives in Houston with her new adopted family and is doing Great! The Texas rescue is Fantastic and I encourage all of you to get involved. I live in Oklahoma and love being part of this rescue. Right now the rescue seems to be getting quite a few sheepdog surrenders. They are coming in so quickly that most aren't even on the website yet. If you are interested in a rescue sheepie get on the website and fill out an application. It's so sad that anyone would give up their Oes but I'm glad they are calling the rescue and not a pound.
