Why did I bother sending a man?

Yuki needs more food and we all know she has a long long history of allergies. Nothing works, but what she is presently on (Vegetarian) definitely isn't working, so I told him I wanted to try Merrick's Grain Free ...and to go to Petco. I said they are the ones who carry it and would you like me to look up where the nearest one is? He said, no.. I got it.

He goes to the Petsmart and says they didn't have Merrick but he got Avoderm because he liked the dog on the cover. 8O

Really?!?! 8O

I told him hopefully yuki's belly likes the dog on it too. This is why I'm never surprised when Joshee brings me milk from the fridge when I ask for a napkin. Just like his daddy.

Hope it works out well for Yuki, sometimes it's like talking to a wall.
Maybe this is karma and was meant to happen?
I know what you mean. Since Chuck has been on midnights, I don't know why I even waste my breath....it is like I never said anything. sigh
hehehe
Shaggy dog at home, shaggy dog pictured on bag.
Yup, right food! Guys are so visual... 8)

So true! If it looks like this :wag: then it must be the right food. :headbang:

If Yuki can't eat it, I would make Ryan finish the bag....
Mission accomplished Mr. J! I salute you! Now you will never again be asked to go to the petstore to pick up dogfood! 8) 8) 8)
I wrote this earlier, but he DIDN'T even want to go and maybe that is why I got what I got baba...

He told me "why can't I do it?!" He says I think I'm the only busy person.

Here's the truth though:

I go above what I'm capable of handling because I hate disappointing esp if I let someone know I can do it.. AND I DO what I say I'm doing after being asked "once."

Mr. J who is currently about 3 hrs away... gets up. Decides to take a leisure run. Comes home and have whatever breakfast he wants while he checks the news. Takes a shower then goes to lunch where during that long BUSY day... he has a nice 1hr+ lunch of his choice ...made for him (by a nice nice restaurant or fast food depending on which vendor is paying). Then he gets off on most days between 5:30 - 6 p.m. and gets to decide what he wants to do in the evening ...followed again by a nice dinner and a relaxing evening of just "him."

So all hell is going to break loose when I hear "How come I can't add it" to my already long day. ;)

I wish I had it SO easy. I had to clean his apt for an entire day just so the kids could sleep there that night. It's THAT relaxed of a summer for him.

SO GET MY DANG DOG FOOD RIGHT W/O MAKING EXCUSES 8)

We have been having problems with Mattie and hot spots all summer. About 3 weeks ago I started both of them on The Honest Kitchen. Its a dehydrated raw food. Grain free. No new hot spots so far. Her coat even seems to be coming in nice and thick.
Usually you can see Matties skin, she has really fine hair.
It might be worth giving it a try.

haha.. I'm the one who usually promotes The Honest Kitchen here ;)

It works better than most things (she still goes at her butt but it's not constant ...but it was getting worse when I took her off) we have tried but it's far from convenient for me. ...since it's "me" that makes it. Even when I make a week's worth.. it's "me" that has to feed her ..."me" that has to clean her beard from the absolute mess it leaves ..."me" that has to repeat and make and clean up all the tupperware again. I just don't have time if I can help it and feeding dry food is SUCH an easy task that it's something I like to give to the kids.
I have been doing half dry kibble and half honest kitchen.
Castor and Pollux I think it's call natural mix. It's grain and poultry free. Our holistic market sells it and Pet Smart carries it.
You can see the pieces of carrots and bananas in it, and it's not very fishy smelling.

Just another thought.

thanks for the suggestion. I just may try that once this new food fails.
I have all that as Mr J....but Todd is also color blind!!!
I can't even tell him what color bag it comes in.
