Bode from Long Island

Hi everyone...

Well, its been a hectic 2 months....I found this site about a year or so ago. I have wanted a OES for 30 years...yes...30 years. Life seemed to get in the way...was busy working, raising 2 children, etc. For one year I made notes of things I learned on this site. The people here are....wonderful! So informative and all willing to lend a word or two of advice. Even made a new friend, practically in my own backyard!!

Bode is a lovable, charming, beautiful, boy! He has his moments...still using my arm as a chew toy, but I have to say...each week he gets better and better....He follows me everywhere, which I think is pretty sweet :hearts: . Living on Long Island, we go to the beach regularly and he absolutely loves it. After lots of looking and questions, have found a wonderful vet who thinks like me lol and a great groomer. Bode flew to us from Florida at 10 weeks old and was completely housebroken. He sleeps in his crate, which we call his cabana lol. At 9:30 pm he looks to go into it and we dont hear from him til around 630 am during the week and on weekends he wont get up til we get up...amazing! He has his crazy moments, but after he settles down, hes lovely. His eating habit are .... so so. Not a huge eater. I have learned how to make him his own biscuits, which he now eats for his morning meal and treats during the day...

Its definately a learning experience...but I just wanted to say thanks to this great site and all the people I've talked to along the way! The knowledge I have gathered and learned ... there are no words....

Thanks again!!!

-d, from long island
