Don't you dare knock on my door....

Baily is 8 1/2 years old. She has always been 'excited' when someone came to the front door but lately she seems much more aggressive about it. Last night was the topper. Around 9 in the evening someone walked their dog by the house. The second floor front window was open (screen was in thank goodness) and Baily went nuts. She pushed the screen out of the frame and I found her halfway out of the front window going nuts! Thought she would fall out of the upstairs window! As I pulled her back in, she turned and snapped at me, and we both fell against a piece of furniture.

She has been to the vet and physcially she is fine, very active, walks miles a day, but this increase in aggression at the door (and window) has me a bit concerned. It's hard to have anyone come over from friends to trades people.

Has anyone else had an issue with this as the dog aged? Any insight would be appreciated.

As a side note, my boy, Atticus who just turned 2, runs away and hides upstairs when she does this nonsence so at least I'm not dealing with 2 crazy sheepies.

Have you tried having people purposely come over and when they come in giving her treats to associate people walking by and coming to the house as a positive thing? Ive never had to deal with this before but its the best I've got. sorry

Poor Atticus!! (Love that name)
