3 month old OES up for adoption

Good day sheepie lovers :D.

There's a 3 month old female on Petfinder up for adoption for anyone interested. You better move fast, I don't think it'll be available for too long. :D

She DOES sound like a cutie- too bad we don't have our home yet! How is your search going, Uncle Pete? any luck?

Karen :)
Hi Karen :D .

How are you? Well I'm still looking. Everytime I get up in the morning I get that look from Dallas, is today the day Dad? I can tell that she really misses Demi, she's more quiet, looks sad :( more than usual and doesn't really find it fun to play by herself. I'm sure I'll find one soon.

This one really sounds like a great pup and will find a great home too I'm sure.

I gave Dallas a haircut about a month ago, I'll have to send you a few pics to post for me. Thanks :D

Take Care.

Uncle Pete :D
Oh no . . . she's in MICHIGAN . . . .

Somebody hold me back!!

And before you say anything Holly OR Jill - I'm really not home enough for a puppy.

Still . . .

Jil
Jil,

I'll go with you if you just want to take a peek. This is so unusal to find a sheepie puppy up for adoption at three months old. :(

Does anyone have an more information?
If I go, she'll come home with me. No question about it. I really don't think that I'll be able to justify 2 rescues in one week.

I'm not supposed to be looking at Petfinder. James says no more. :(

However, I'd go along with someone to look, if it was for them that is...
I must stay away. I have no self control whatsoever. Hence the two dogs and two cats I already have and I'm already stretched thin emotionally.

Still, I keep going back to see if there's more info . . . .

It is odd - 3 months is pretty young. I'm guessing they couldn't handle the puppy activity level. That's how Kayli ended up at the MHS at 4 months old.

Jil
Holland is only a few hours, if anyone goes maybe Uncle Pete would be interested. Getting her to Canada would not be a problem between all of us. Jil...are you sure? Jill....2 in 1 week may be a record.
Hi :D .

Thanks for thinking about me. Not that I would not like to have her, but since young ones are easier to place, I'd like for her to go to a home that has never had that great experience of raising a sheepie from a pup.

Since older ones are harder to get adopted, I'd rather go for one of those. I'll just wait for my turn and I'm sure one has my name on it somewhere out there.

Thanks again.

Uncle Pete :D
That's commendable of you Uncle Pete!

Holly, don't think I haven't thought about it, but it wouldn't be fair to Miss Belle or Kayli.

That's not stopping me from checking the link to see if there's updates, though!

You'd be surprised. Lucy, hater of all things other than humans that move, became amazingly adjusted to Clyde. The stuff she puts up with amazes me. I openly encourage her to bite him to teach him a lesson but she calmly runs around with Clyde attached to her neck, losing huge tufts of fur. On the plus side, at one point, she was almost 80 pounds. Clyde and Lucy went to the vet the other day for checkups and heartworm stuff and Lucy is down to svelte 60 pounds. It's from all the exercise she gets from him running her around! Now I know why Clyde has been successfully pushing her around so much since he weighed in at just over 75 pounds. But he definitely keeps her young. Like Belle, we know she's somewhere around 8-9, but it's hard to tell because she has such good teeth and otherwise good health!
You guys are NOT helping!!!

I actually got Belle with a hope that she would be a playmate for Kayli. Remember, I didn't know how sick she is. Kayli is unbelievably tolerant/supportive of Belle. The slooowww walks are killer though.

A puppy would walk faster than Belle . . .

Bad Jillie. Bad, Bad Jillie.
Good Jillie, good, good Jillie :D
And a puppy is always a good playmate. She'd probably have a geat theraputic effect on Belle...
And we now return to "The Pushers" starring Jill and Holly, written by Maxxmm.
Don't you go blaming this on Maxmm, she's nowhere to be found on this post.

Evil Evil Michiganders!
It doesn't hurt to look. I just keep wondering how a 3 month OES is in rescue. It breaks my heart.

Probably the same way my Clyde got sold to a pet store. Irresponsible people who don't want to take care of a puppy...known in some circles as jerks.
I know Mandy is lurking around here somewhere :D
HEY

What the.....

I'm just here to call attention to the obvious. I am but an observer :D
(And sometimes an antagonist!!)
