Re-Introductions are due

Well, I decided it was high time for a re-introduction to the forum. We haven't been here much since the passing of our wonderful Sheepie Milo in 2010. But I am happy to announce that we are less than a month away from once again having a Wigglebutt in our home. We found a breeder in MT through the OESCA website that just happened to have a litter on the way and decided it was time for a new addition to our home. He will be joining our adopted Border Collie (who was one of Milo's buddies before we adopted her) and our cat Mare (who was a stray adopted by Milo when we moved to our current residence). We are waiting to name our new pup until we meet him, but the current short list of names are Finnegan or Oscar. So without further ado...

Glad to hear you are getting another puppy to love. Cute pictures.
Welcome back! Congrats on your new puppy! He is precious!
Congrats on the new puppy and welcome back!
Yea!! Welcome back. Both names are nice.
welcome back what a cutie
Congrats! Milo would be happy that you are getting another OES to heal your heart.

He's a cutie pie! (I vote for the name Oscar, but I may, perhaps, be slightly biased. :D )

Laurie and Oscar
I was thinking "another Oscar" but don't we also have a Finnegan? Finn? I forget.
Welcome back. Adorable puppy. How did you narrow it down to those 2 names? Both of which are cute by the way.

Bonnie/Carley's Mom
Welcome back, and so happy you are getting a new puppy to add to your family :)

Yep, I like both names. I'm sure you will know which one is "the one" once you meet him!
Is he a Mt. Haggins or Lohr boy?
Welcome Back...Someone asked if he was a Loehr's boy? I have two of Janet's pups...PM me if you are getting one! I heard from her recently she has a litter....Hey, maybe our guys are related!
Diane
He's a cutie whatever his name will be. Welcome back
Welcome back! And welcome to your new wigglebottom! :P

My Girlfriend came up with the idea of having each of us list our top 5 names and we selected the ones that hit on both of our lists. Oscar was actually my Great-Grandfather's name and Finnegan or Finn was Matthew McConaughey's character in the movie Fool's Gold. It just happened that we both really liked those names. Evidently he is the most rambunctious of the bunch, he was the first to escape from the Puppy Room (and promptly fell asleep in front of the door). We have been warned by numerous people that he will probably be a handful, but I guess I like challenges.

Yes, he is a Loehr boy. He was one of 8 siblings from Lola's recent litter. We were actually in contact with Carol Furtado about the pups originally as her boy Harley is the Dad. My Mother lives in Idaho so we are going up for her Birthday and then picking the new boy up at the same time, a great little dual purpose road trip.

We are both really excited as it was 1988 when I had my last puppy and just about as long for Noel. All of our other dogs have come to us as rescues or adoptions and we have always wished we could have seen them in their puppy years.
Welcome back, I vote for Finnegan! Oscar's good too.
Well, we made it home and let me just say the little guy was an absolute trooper. Plans got changed around and we ended up meeting Janet in Pocatello on Saturday. He spent roughly 10 hours in the car on Saturday and on Sunday he had the 10hr drive from Nampa back to home in Placerville. He loves car rides and we didn't have any issues at all. At home that night was a bit trying, we had a massive thunderstorm roll through and both dogs were antsy from being in the car so long and the storm just compounded it. In the two weeks we have had him we have gotten our routine established, although he is still on Mountain Time which makes for REALLY early mornings. His big sister is warming up to his puppy energy and he is starting to learn commands nicely.

We ended up changing his name slightly to Phineas George or "Finn" for short. Although his nickname has become "Fuzzy Monster". He had his first visit with his vet today and everyone just fell in love with him. OES are quite rare in Northern California. He has the same vet as our Milo did and she just lit up when she saw Finn.

Now for the Photos:

Very nice pictures, sounds like he was quite the trooper with such a long car ride.
So cute! I'm glad he did well on the car ride, Eevee had a four hour ride home and she wasn't too happy about it. She drooled all over me cause she was so nervous. She's warming up to car rides now though, she even puts her head out the window!
Super Cute!!! Congratulations on your new family member! Milo would approve!
congrats what a cutie pie
Congrats! Welcome Finn! He's a cutie!

Welcome to baby Phineas! :D :D
That was quite a road trip for you all.
Welcome home to baby Phineas! And when you mention Janet, I think I have two of her pups! She is the best. We LOVE her. Sent you a pm...
What a cutie!
