What is the funniest thing your OES has done Competition?
One of the funniest things my Digby did was whilst on a short walk when a little mini cooper car pulled up to drop off some people at the side of the road was that once the door opened he got in and sat on the passengers knees in the back seat. He would not get out and the passengers were quite alarmed!!! Extremely funny after the event Liz and Digby xxx Lets all put our stories on and then we could vote for the best???  |

| Second Digby story of hilarity was when he was a puppy, he was in the back seat on a journey back from the supermarket. When I arrived home I had to go straight back to the shops as Digby had eaten all the shopping!!! also involved a trip to the vets to check he was ok with his full cooked chicken and yard of french bread consumption. He was fine xxx |

| I cant think of any...Bloo is funny all the time. Maybe that time he ran into the glass window and then barked at it! And the sheepie playday last year when he disappeared under the water! I seriously cant think of any... He falls over a lot, bloo doesnt have any idea where his feet are, he is always falling off the cerb on walks and skidding on his face when running...  |
| Oh i got one!!! This time we went to the park and met Obie (labrardor) He and bloo were running and playing when they both ganged up and stole these peoples picnic! They were sitting in the middle of the field, when both dogs came runnng back with sandwiches HAHA |

| At the top of the forum page where is says chat, logout etc... click my photos. You may then have to login again. But once your in the gallery click upload file (Its in red writing) then upload and submit. Once youve uploaded your pics, copy and paste the url at the bottom of the pic. | At our first puppy match, Caitlyn decided to let the judge see just how displeased with her decision by immediate pooping in the ring just as soon as we didn't get called out for an award. We did make it to the Group ring for this, so there were plenty of people there to see her act of defiance. Not one month later... It wasn't funny then, but it is now - Caitlyn hadn't been properly trained and still thought that is was cool to have her play time IN the ring. In our second puppy match, she started jumping and lunging for my hand, wrist arm, anything she could clamp onto. When she finally did clamp down, it was firmly on my left forearm, hard enough to draw blood on the spot where I still have scars. Needless to say, this behavior got corrected THAT very night! Here is the proof!  Thankfully, Caitlyn is growing up and I'm letting her know how to behave so these will hopefully be the last stories to tell. Vance |

| A couple of weeks ago at the dog park, I was sitting around chatting with the other dog owners while our dogs were playing. We have a nifty little water fountain there for the dogs, but on that day, it had a bad leak, so there was a huge mud puddle where some previous dogs had dug a hole next to the fountain. It was just a muddy pit! Ava decided to have a dig. By the time I managed to get her face out of the quagmire, she literally had mud from nose to neck. Her whites were ALL MUD. I had to hurry and get a bottle of water and hose her off - she had mud shoved all the way up her nostrils! She didn't like that so..... She ran around and jumped her muddy paws on as many people as couldn't get away from her. It took me a half an hour to catch her and get her home. Ugh. There have also been countless Yorkie and Chihuahia tramplings at the dog park ... Oh, and of course the first time she met the ferrets, and Jack the ferret clamped on to her nose, and held on. Poor puppers! |

My first sheepie, Rags, was a great obedience trained competitor. But one day we were at a trail at a horse farm and the rings were set up and fecned off but the horse trail was within site. On a recall, Rags started to come to me at about 100 mph and then heard a horse do the horse "howl" and Rags took off after him! Jumped the training fence and went off..  .The entore show had to stop and wait while I got him back...and that was not an easy task! needless to say we were DQ'd and alot of peoplee pised at us! Ha ha...I thought it was hilarious! Some people take this stuff way too seriously. If it isn't fun, why bother! |
| While Brick isn't a sheepdog, I've always found this hillarious. Many years ago, when Brick was much younger, my ex took him to a local lake (Green Lakes State Park for those familiar with the Syracuse area). It was a nice day before Memorial Day, so the park was still free and there were no restrictions on dogs. Well, she was walking him on a long lead on the beach when he walked a little ways into the lake and took a dump. I'm laughing my butt off as I type this. She was mortified as there were many people around. She didn't know what to do. The poop sank, so it wasn't like you could fish it out or anything. I wasn't there so there was nothing I could've done about it. I know it's not supposed to be funny and really it's quite disgusting. I mean, people swim in that lake. But for some reason, I find it hillarious. Maybe because I can envision my ex's expressions while the dog was taking a crap in the lake. Maybe it's the act of the dog taking a crap in the lake. Or maybe it's like Bricky is giving the middle finger to the world, the only way he knows how.  |
