I was walking home from the dog park when suddenly I saw a car stop and a man and a sheepie get out of the car. He and his wife had been driving home and saw me with two sheepies and had to stop and say hello. It was one of Stacey's dogs, 11 month old Mabel. They live less than a kilometre (less than a mile to you Americans) from our house! We have another sheepie in the neighbourhood, I am so excited! She was a lovely dog and we are making plans for an off leash play date. Maybe she can help teach Gracie how to be a puppy and yet still keep your face clean. Mabel had such a pretty, CLEAN face. And I love the name Mabel. Anyway, it was neat to meet her and I look forward to many play dates. |

So THIS is why I should get custody of the dogs in the case we divorce: Kim had a playdate with Gracie and Mabel at the dog park, I reminded her 20 times to bring the camera. She goes, Gracie has a terrific time with Mabel, running, wrestling, hopping, fun fun fun. I can't wait to post the 50 pictures Kim took, OH WAIT I CAN'T because she forgot the camera!!! |
