new table

finally got to use my new grooming table I got for Mothers Day. The first one came broken, but the second one works great. Ryleigh did very good on it and my back is happy. :clappurple:

Look at how pretty and pink it is! And, of course, Ryleigh looks like her usual pretty self. :hearts:
thank you. She needed a boost up but got down on her own. Hardest part was keeping her standing. She wanted to lay down, make its hard to clip her right. She didnt mind the leash on her neck. I was a little worried she would buck and try to get out of it, but it didnt bother her.
Pretty table.....where did you get it from?
petedge.com some members here suggested it. Really good price too.
Love your pink table! Ryleigh looks good up there!
Love it! Love it! Love it!
A grooming table is probably the best investment an OES owner
can make. Saves your back. Makes grooming a fun job.
I try to keep it fun by only keeping the dog standing up using the grooming arm when I really need them to stand up to work on a section. When I can, I let the dog lie on its side to brush the sides, etc.

May I suggest another piece of grooming equipment (also from PetEdge) to go with your table?

I highly recommend this ergonomic adjustable height grooming stool for $79. I have had mine for about 10 years and love it.

Yay!! Glad your new table arrived safely and you got to use it :D

Bond and I used the pink one all weekend at our show. He is man enough to do pink ;)
It looks very nice and now you can groom ryleigh easy peasy! :)
Yay for you! I love the happy pink color too! :D You'll love it!! A grooming table really does help save the back... and it's
nice to be able to push the hair to the floor so it's out of your way. I teach "toe" for them to put their front feet up so I can
boost them up.

And I love the "stand" command... never thought about teaching it until we got Bumble. It comes in so handy. A cup of treats
is kept near the table to help encourage/reward good standing behavior.

I put my plain-jane black Petedge table on the back deck last evening. Kubby and I were out there for a few hours for a trunk
shave down, bath, then scissoring. The dude surely sports a crazy hairdo but the temps have been near 90 degrees here...
just too warm for such an active boy. Kibble in the Starbucks' coffee mug and he wanted it.

Have fun with your new table! :D
Jaci,

We were out on the patio grooming yesterday afternoon, too!
It was about 75 degrees and perfect weather for drying and
scissoring Chloe. I should have taken a before and after picture.
I am so lucky to be able to groom outside much of the time.

We have a command for getting an assist up onto the grooming
table, too. I just say "boost" and they put their front paws
up and wait for me to lift the behind up onto the table.
It works for us!

Do take pictures next time! Isn't it fun to groom outdoors? :D I like your cooler temperatures... it was still pretty hot here.

It was so peaceful though as the day began to wind down. Kobuck got to watch a Grackle walking around looking for bugs...
I was hoping the darn thing would fly away because while Bucky was minding, he really wanted to bolt off the table
after that bird. (Treats came in handy! LOL) I love it out back... as long as the wind isn't blowing hair all over the place and
there aren't misquotes out.
