Looks like we are going to temporarily adopt another dog!

My brother in law Christian has a rottweiler/pitbull mix that he had to leave with his mom when he moved in with Sarah, unfortunately she had puppies and didn't get taken care of very well, so she has a big gash in one of her breasts and it needs to be removed. So, we have decided to take her until Christian and Sarah's living situation changes. We have to take her to the vet when we get her for surgery, we are hoping all goes alright with her.

well done for helping but would it be wise to give them the dog back
Good luck with her. I had a foster female basset that needed what amounted to a bilateral mastectomy. She had been used for breeding a LOT and she dragged her mammaries on the ground. :(
She did great after the surgery. :D

The dog isn't going to go back to the home she's currently at. What happened is, Christian moved and couldn't take her with, then his mom didn't take very good care of her, so I'm going to take care of her until Christian can keep her again. He was the one who took care of her before.

I'm glad to hear that the surgery helped, Nirvana got a cut on it and it got infected and everything.
Good luck! I hope she's a sweetie and gets along well.

Thanks! I think she will get along with the dogs fine since she's used to living with other dogs. Jacob is a bit afraid of her, but hopefully she will be the sweet dog that everyone says she has been.
