On standby for Sheepiepalooza

He didn't do it on purpose to ruin my life, but Bob is dead f'in lame. Went to the barn after work. He went into his stalll fine and 30 minutes later hobbled out of his stall on 3 legs. Vet was out last week and found nothing, other than arthritis in his hocks and he got injected. It's not soft tissue. No heat or swelling in his leg. Barn manager is convinced it's an abscess (he's been doing this on and off for a few weeks). IF it's an abscess and IF it blows by Thursday morning, I'm clear for Sheepiepalooza.

This apparently will be a day by day thing.

Dear Lord, make it an abscess . :plead:

so sorry Paula. just hate when these critters cannot tell when things are wrong and where and why.
:( sorry Paula!!!!
I'm so sorry to hear that Paula.

My thoughts and prayers are with you for your baby.
So so sorry Paula--poor Bob. Hoping he gets better quickly. Sending positive thoughts your way--and a hug for Bob! :ghug:
Oh NO!! Poor Bob, the world does stop when our buddies are ailing :hearts: Hoping for the least diagnosis, quickest cure, and slightest pain for Bob. And that we get to see you on Friday :plead: :plead:
Oh no, poor Bob. Hoping for good news :ghug:
Oh goodness! Get better Bob!
So sorry Paula...huggs and healing thoughts for BOB!!!!! Please keep us posted!!
I know how much you love Bob, so he has my thoughts and prayers right now! Hope it's not bad news!
Paula, don't use the word DEAD in a sentence!!! I about had a heart attack!!

I do hope it's an abscess and Bob is feeling better soon...like in 2 days or less! ;)
Have to agree with Dawn here - "dead" in your sentence just stopped me cold until I finished the rest of your sentence. Poor Bob. Here is hoping that it is easy to find the problem and that it heals quickly... like in the next couple of days. Not ever easy having our friends hurting and unable to tell us exactly where or what. Fingers crossed for it all to go very, very well for Bob and for you.

I hope Bob is feeling better..poor boy. I hope all works out for sheepiepalooza.
Vet came out this morning and Bob was perfectly fine. So fine, in fact, the vet said she couldn't do any diagnostic work because there's nothing to look for. He trotted back into the pasture. So the crisis has passed for today but I'm still waffling. I'll make my decision tomorrow night.

Kids. *sigh*
Well, I guess it's good news.... :)
:crossed: :crossed: :crossed: :crossed:

Hope Bob stays well!
