Double checking my travel list

I haven't traveled this far with the dogs before, and I want to make sure I don't forget
anything important.

Made sure there microchips were up to date and registered

shot records

rabies certificates

name tags with phone numbers and addresses

first aid kit(benadryl, pepto, immodium, antibiotic cream)

grooming supplies
and basics food treats etc.

Is it true some dogs tummies upset with different water than they are used too?

Am I missing anything?
Thanks guys

I feel like a parrot but we never go anywhere w/o a roll of paper towels and nature's miracle. You never know what a sniff and nibble of something bad in an unknown area will bring......
We are the same way. Always have a roll of papertowels and some kind of cleaner.
When Frankie was a puppy he would wait until we got back into the car and pee.

ginger snaps if they get upset tummies
Baby wipes for quick cleanups. We didn't have any trouble with water. I did find that they didn't eat much, but I am learning that my girls just don't eat much when they are excited.

Dogs! Make sure you pack the dogs. Oh, sure, you laugh, but I rarely go five miles down the road without reviewing what I may have forgotten and I inevitably end up inventorying the dogs!!!!

I have yet to forget any, though I did once get half-way to an agility trial before I remembered I didn't have a single leash in the car

It's funny you say that. I always get down the road and have too look, because they are being so quiet.

I got to agility and realized I did not put a leash on Simon...lucky I had an extra in the car.

I have heard that some dogs get upsets with different water. I put extra in the car just for the riding portion. I have never had a problem.
Hey, I did have my friend Donna head out to a show and forgot one of her Toy Fox Terriers (who was entered!) at home! She was all the way into Iowa...and had to make a quick call home, and meet her husband with the dog halfway back to home!
I don't think she's lived that one down.....and seeing I was one of the people she called seeking transport of said dog, and I gave her LOTS of crap about it...I always start my packing list with "dogs"....lol

I do bring some of my own water, but once I run out, I just use the stuff where ever I am. And I have well water, and they do just fine on all the various city waters.

One thing I learned when stranded in a far away town after hitting a deer.....was bring along a couple more day's worth of dog food than you think you may need. Many dogs eat less when away from home (especially if it's not the norm to travel), but still, better to be prepared. :)

I always take my own water. If & when I run out, I stop & buy bottled water (gallon sized jugs). I also always take a ziplock bag of "meds" (probiotic incase they get soft stool, Gas-Ex, 1st aid ointment, Zymox for ears, some Rimadyl incase one of them comes up lame...) to tide me over until I could get to a vet if necessary. Another thing I do is portion out their food in small ziplock bags. I make enough for 2 meals each day for each dog plus an extra day for each dog incase we'd get stuck on the way home on a Sunday after stores closed.
I too take the gallon size bottle water. My labs (who wont be at sheepiepalooza) always get running poo when they change water, so just to be safe I get bottled jugs to go with us.

That's about all that will fit in your clown car with the beauty queens
Plus the limitations that David has put on what Kim can pack for clothing.
