Yeesh, too many dogs

Sheepdogs are my favourite of course, and I love having my three sheepdogs. But since the dog show, I've been thinking how much I'd like to have a Puli or even a Komondor as well, and a big boy Newfoundland, I'd also love to have a Border Collie from our herding trainer (she breeds them mainly for their working ability and health, but also for very sweet temperaments). I also like Bassets.

Too many dogs!

Little hippie island in BC

All that panting makes me STRESSED! :twitch:
You need a farm David, somewhere where there is no 3 dog limit.

Exactly!!!! How do you think we end up with the dogs we have??? :lmt:
We love the various dogs for their unique characteristics and abilities.....but still probably a good thing I teach classes. That does let me be around some of the dogs I might otherwise be tempted to own myself...good way to satisfy those dog-wishing thoughts!
I often think about what other breeds I'd own.
Obviously Airedales & sheepdogs are on the top of the list, but at some point in life, maybe when I'm older, I would like to try a Wire Haired Fox Terrier.
I also like the Kerry Blue Terriers.
Oh, and a gentleman at the dog park had a giant Schnauzer. What a BEAUTIFUL dog!
I don't think the girls will be too happy. Mady has been overrun by 2 sheepies & I think she might get a pillow while you sleep :)
OMFG! All those saints! My sister would be in heaven there!!
OMG, there is a heaven! I sincerely hope that is a video mixing! Still just 12 would be nice...30 years ago.

When you have the room and the $$$ having a pack is wonderful.....if they all get along. Luckily when we had 7 they did all get along.....with the Beardie as the clown! Everyone loved him.

There was a time with 4 that 2 of them hated each other, making our life miserable.

Wow, that is not video editing, those are all Saint Bernards, apparently from this breeder:

Interesting, Lasqueti island is actually quite big, not far from Vancouver, but only has a population of 400 or so. Wouldn't be a bad place for a lot of dogs.
What a coold video. I would love to have more dogs and so many different breeds, but I do control myself as hard as it is. lol My next dog is going to be a male sheepie...jus waiting for the right time.
We used to have a Border Collie, he's such a well behaved dog. My dad has him now, they're both retired and moved to Florida! Haha. My aunt had a BC too, she's actually had a few. Hers were all girls, and they were so great with herding and super east to train.
