I don't sew--so I can't make them myself!

But I ordered pajama pants for my daughter this Christmas and had her Havanese's picture put on the pants. I ordered them from Walgreens photo department.
She loved then and they were a great weight of fabric--more or less year round. The fun thing was being able to use a picture that I had taken.
I'm thinking it was Allison with Tonks and Luna???
I sew, and I LOVE making pajamas. And yes, it could have been me or it could have been sheepiezone. All the other threads were about ordering pajamas that we'd found online. These were the sleep shorts I made with my fabric:

I'm making another fabric pattern now; I will hopefully have it done for tomorrow. If you want to learn to sew, I suggest learning on Pajamas. I think its all I made for the first year I was sewing. They can be very easy, and relatively quick to make. And if you don't make them 100% right, no one will know, because its not like you are going to wear them out on the town!!!
I went back and found the pictures of these for you-

those are SUPER cute!!!!!

My daughter loves them--from Walgreens of all places- :D I stumbled on them at Christmas when I was printing some photos.

They do run a little small so order up a size if anyone orders!
Love the pjs shorts you made! And is that you doing the modeling? What do you work out or something!

But I don't sew so this question is for Karen...Are you saying you went to the Wal-mart on line store and ordered plain pjs and them uploaded your own photo? That's what I'm looking to do...are they just regular pj pants in the regular sleep section?

That's TOTALLY not me modeling!!! It's Adam's assistant, who does work out. She's ridiculously fit and gorgeous.

Hey Diane--it is Walgreens Drugstore not Walmart. When you go to the Walgreens website there is a photo section and the pj pants are in the photo gifts. They come with a black background (which is what I used because Neyland is light colored) or a cream background. You can upload a picture that you want to use and that picture just repeats. The PJ pants are sort of a nylon or blend material and rather light weight.

They do run a little small so order up a size--I just happened to get lucky with that as my daughter likes her pjs a little big. If I had ordered her size they would have been too small.

Hope that helps--if you have any problems just PM me and I will try to help!

LOVE THESE!! :hearts:
You could expand your business and start selling these too. Of course, you'd have to give up sleeping to find the time to sew them all, but hey - who needs sleep -right??

I did these before I got my new sewing machine, and they are not 100% awesome. Some of my seams are crooked and not that pretty. I've never worn them, so if people don't mind crooked seams I can bring them for the Sheepie Palooza auction....?
I say that sounds like a great idea!
Now in re-reading the posts I see you meant Wal Greens and NOT Wal Mart...So I will look there!

I plan to retire, after almost 35 years, at the end of next year and on my "bucket" list is "learn to sew"!!!! Along with a million other things!

So for now I will go to wal Greens and download my pix and have them do the work!

Really hope you like them! :D
I can sew & knitt & do most things with needle. Lori cannot so I am stuck doing the repairs also I can use a sewing machine.
My fabric arrived today and I'm THRILLED with how it turned out!!!!

I have a sewing date on Sunday, so hopefully I can show off my finished product after that!
Dawn, that fabric is fabulous! What are you making with it? I like it just spread out like that like a blanket! Is that the fabric where you send in the photo and they make the fabric for you?
If you mean me (it's Allison) I sent in some art and they made the fabric for me; its done at Spoonflower.com. I'm planning on making something for the Sheepie Palooza fund raising auction with it. At first I thought I'd make a kitchen apron, but when the fabric arrived it felt so nice, now I'm thinking something you can actually wear, like PJ pants.
Sorry Allison  Had the names mixed up...If I can't make it to Sheepalooza, can I still bid somehow on the items? So many cool things!

I don't think so. But once I get home, I'm going to organize on online auction for our local rescue, and I'll probably make some more things for that!
:clappurple: Love it!

8) Your so clever Allison! Too far to go to Sheepalooza........ :(
What kind or material is it? Cotton?
yes its 100% cotton; its' their Kona Cotton. If you go to spoonflwoer, you can order a swatchbook of all the fabrics that they carry and will print on. You can order these patterns on any of the fabrics they offer. Its not inexpensive, but I will say I've been very impressed with the quality.

If you go to the FAQ (frequently asked questions) page you can see a description of all the fabrics they offer, as well as a link to order the swatch book for $1, with no shipping charge.
