| The recall is for what was produced from a specific plant. Where I get Bella's TOTW she mentioned that they were getting special shipments in from the plant in MN which was not affected by the recall. She said that they are in the process of opening a new plant and were planning on shutting the plant with the problems. Wish I could remember the location of the culprit plant. |
| Oh Great! I just bought a new bag of Kirkland Lamb Rice and Vegetables on Thursday. Guess I better check the dates. I guess I'm not quite clear....If it from MN it's ok? And it is people that are getting sick and not the animals? I was almost finished with the last bag and found a mouse inside!! YUCK!! I threw that out! I'm sure it wasn't in the bag initially. |
| yep that's what the place I purchase my food said. MN ok as a supplier and it is humans getting sick not the dogs. |
| Yep, I understand the humans are getting sick from handling the food. Of course the humans are getting sick! If it was "just the dogs" they wouldn't have been so quick to recall....I lived through the laast recalls in 2007 and my dog did too! But barely! Wellness and Candaie also...but only certain varieties. Check their websites...Chicken Soup for the Soul also... |
