UK. Pedigrees.

Thinking how my last two sheepies had the same Dad. I was looking at Summers pedigree and wondered if anyone's sheepies in the UK are related?
Summers Sire is Ellibell of the Eclipse. His parents are Wildhav Jazz Man and Wildhav Windy Willow.
Summers Dam is Deantra Dusty Blue Belle. Parents are Jamacdale Curiosity and Oopsa Daisy Maisy at Deantra.

(Summers actual name is Daisy Proclaimer Girl.)

You will find that a lot of the pedigrees are interbred - I personally dislike it, however, with what is currently in the show ring at the moment I can understand the reasons why.

I know the affix (kennel name) Ellibell as for Wildhav - I was wondering whether this was wildahare (or similar spelling)

As for Esher's pedigree on her father side - her fourth grand-dad is the same stud that I fell in love with many moons ago and he was a dog we used on our first litter. She has a lot of his qualities which was my aim and her grandfather was actually brother to Chester who we had. So it all interlinks.

I just noticed Wildhar on Kim's signature which is funny unless spelling has just been misinterpreted. (thats not right word but you know what I mean) :lmt:

The breeder who owns Wildahar has been around for many years and I believe Mom's first dog Duke was related someway to that kennel. Sadly his papers were lost when we moved - long story!

Will be interesting to know whether Kim and yours are Wildahar.

Lincoln has the same parents as you know! I just love Kenley's and Lincoln's dad - Monty - he isnt really shown anymore which is a real shame.

Their mom is lovely and her parents especially her dad - Victor is just divine and to this day I can still pick out the dogs that he has sired without looking at a catalogue. :hearts: :hearts:

I didnt realise Marley's grandfather was from the Zottels kennel - he was a lovely fella as well.

I do love reading the pedigrees as its such an interesting read and a good thinking ground. I am in the process of deciding who to use on Esher when the time comes - Lincoln or someone else are the questions currently..... :lmt:

I like Monty too .When I saw their mother I just fell in :hearts: :D

Mitch ,the one I lost with cancer before I got Kenley, was a Haverlands dog.His sire was from Oldoak wildcard and his grandfather was Kerjaylee Arnie boy at Wildahar .

I will check out http://WWw.GLOESC.co.uk as I didnt know that was on the site.

You have some tough choices with Esher .I'm biased because of Lincoln and Kenley so I will just sit back and

I know both those sires.

It is worth obtaining the Champion Books (if you can) as you can see the pedigrees and link your dogs up. Plus its a good bit of history for the future....

LOL - it is indeed a tough one - I will wait and see what happens as I have a couple of years yet! Am going ovetr the OES Euro Show in May - so I will get to see what may be coming over to Crufts next year.
Hope you & Val do well in the Euro's. Would of gone myself but due to work issues I cannot :(
