Stair climbing

I just had to write.....I took Panda to my husbands new fire station (he just transfered). This one has stairs....Well, it had never occured to me that Panda would have no idea what to do with them(she is 18 mths) ... She has never seen more than two step :D I dont think Brian and I could laugh so hard!!She literally climb up the stairs on her belly, barking the whole way and then slid down the stairs on her behind (just like a toddler),still barking the whole time....just had to share...after the 5th or 6th time she started to get the hang of it, but I dont think she really liked it...too funny!!!!

I bet that was amusing to all!

Reminds me of a rescue I placed........this girl originally from Phoenix BTW, also didn't know steps. I had to crawl up and down the steps at the lady's new home.........me crawling up and down steps was not something I'd like others to see! Could be why the adopting lady dropped dead a few days later....trying to control her laughter.
I never let my dogs go upstairs, so they don't know how either.
They are just like kids
My original intention was to never let Bailey go up the stairs but he had a different plan! He's great at them now, but since we keep all of the doors closed upstairs he doesn't go up very often. No excitement up there!
I'm sure Jasper will be the same way if he ever sees them! lol My 2.5 yr old son still hasn't ever seen them!
We had a dog who would go upstairs with no problem but would never go down the basement stairs. He would lay at the top and look down at us but wouldn't put one foot on the top step

Both of mine are like that. I will say that watching Clyde learn to navigate the stairs for the first time was one of the funniest things that I've ever seen though!
