Just checking in

I am sooo missing everyone on here!

I started school online (getting my Master's and it is killing me!!!!) and I can't seem to find anytime to do anything but work, home, and school.

So - thought I would drop in to say hello and I cannot wait for Sheepielooza!!!!

Pru is doing great and I hope between Michael and I we can get some pictures up soon. She is about to be 7 months old and is 67 lbs (or more probably now...as that was 2 weeks ago... ). She gets on the couch like she is 5 lbs and continues to sit down, literally, on top of someone, as we are there for her comfort   .

Since the last time Michael and I have posted, we took her on our fist road trip and she did awesome! We drove 4 hours north for my grandfather's funeral, slept in a hotel (pics to come of that cuteness sleeping in bed with my 14 yo) and then drove over 7 hours to Disney :clappurple: .

She stayed in at the Best Friends Pet Care and I was impressed. She seemed very content. We had one small issue with them attempting to re-do her knot and she had green goop in her eyes one day - she couldn't blink. We talked to them and loosened her top-knot and her eyes cleared up and no other issues. We got to play with her everyday and...yes....we paid more for her hotel than ours...  She stayed at the Ritz...true Disney style.

But then...2 days after being home...our first encounter with puppy diarrhea!!! 8O Yea - so that was NOOO fun. She had a Clostridium overgrowth -which they swear (they being the vets office) it was probably just stress from travel and being home and not something to call the kennel and freak out over (so - I didn't). She took her Flagyl and Probiotics and was better within a day. I was sooo worried that first day though. Poor lil thing, she had poo all in her fur at her feet

Needless to say...she has been bathed more this past 2 weeks than ever.

So - packing the Probiotics for the trip to St. Louis. However, she really did awesome on the drive and didn't act funny when we got home or anything. She was active, playful, and just silly ol' Pru. When the diarrhea hit - she was so funny with her bark. I was such a bad mommy because I heard her bark once in the middle of the night, but it was one quick bark - so I thought she was dreaming. ... Then, I assume not much later, she barked a distinctive, "hey....I tried to warn you..." and there was her accident and her looking at me like..."yea...you're gonna need to take me outside like now...and clean this up pronto!" :)

Well, it is the middle of the night. I just finished posting all my stuff for school and wanted to say hello. I hope I can get on and catch up this weekend.

:ghug: to everyone and I can't wait....one month away!!

Carol and I have spoken about having a Floridapalooza one year. Wouldn't be hard to convince a Canadian to go down there to warm up our chilled bones.
2013 sounds like a PERFECT year...  :clappurple:
I'm hoping Carol and the other Florida sheepie owners can put something together for the winter of 2013.
I haven't been to Florida since '09 and like going during winter. It's a nice break.
