Frankie's having back issues

Over the weekend we noticed Frankie walking a little different. He's doing this strange hip swing. I mentioned it to Dr Mary last night at PT. So we did the red carpet walk down the hallway for her, and she could really notice it. But she really couldn't tell what was bothering him.
So he started his normal treadmill walking, and actually walked better on it than he has in a long time. He had about 8 minutes to go and started stumbling in the water so it was time to stop.
After an exam she thinks it's his back. He was really sensitive when touched, crying out loud. Frankie doesn't usually cry. He did slip off of the A Frame last Thursday. Not really sure how he did it.
He got a laser treatment, she wanted to do an adjustment but he would have nothing to do with that. He is also taking rimadyl for pain now, and I'm supposed to ice his back.
Hopefully he's feeling better soon. Frankie has been pain free for such a long time, I hate too see it start again.

Awww, I hope he feels better soon! How exactly does one keep an ice pack on a dog?
Thanks for everyones well wishes.
When Frankie is laying on the couch sucking on his stuffed zebra, he's in a zone. So I just set the ice gel pack on his back for awhile.

Poor Frankie. Just doesn't seem fair after all he has been through. Hopefully this is just a minor strain/sprain/bruise. Feel better soon Frankie!!!
Miss Ellie is the "little" lady in our pack and has taken a few hits broadside while trying to play with everyone. She started to have difficulty getting up, climbing stairs, and running. I knew it wasn't her hips, so off to our holistic vet. Her spine was out of alignment which the doctor manipulated. He then treated with a cold laser and our girl was back in the race. We take her back bi-monthly for treatment and life is good.
Hope this is just a short term issue and Frankie is back to form soon! Take it easy Frankie and get well!
Oh that poor boy. He's too young to be having so many problems. Hope he feels better soon.
How is he feeling? Any better?
Poor Frankie, I hope he's doing better!

Poor Frankie hope he feels better really soon. Celyn had back issues and the supplement Seraquin really helped her. Link below if of interest. http://www.seraquin.co.uk/

May have another name in the States.

Thinking of you. Debs x :hearts:
Thank you for everyone's well wishes.
Frankie is still walking a little funny, but doesn't show any signs of pain. Which he usually doesn't. He's been wild and crazy running around like a fool. The pt told us he could go to his agility class last night, as long as he didn't do contacts. Our agility trainer was surprised at how well he did in class last night.
We'll see what Dr Mary thinks on Monday.

Thank you again.
We are so lucky to have such kind friends.
