I wish I'd had a camera

We just gated in the yard so the dogs can run freely and they've really been enjoying it. We've also begun work on a patio that was halted by last week's rain. So, ultimately, that section of the yard is pretty muddy and messy. What made me think letting an 8 month old sheepie out there without constant supervision was a good idea? I stepped away for 5 minutes and when I let Clyde in, he had his head down. Something made stop him and when he looked up, there was no white visible on his face. He decided to play "mole" in one of the dirt mounds and burrowed in up to his eyes. He just looked at me like, "what?"

What a mess!

 Yep, that's Sky too... rain all last week means muddy messy dog, and a week of grooming this week.... *sigh*
HeeHeeHee   Sounds like my Beau, too! He really loves to get wet & dirty!!
The wetter and muddier, the better!!! :D
Last week we had record breaking rains in our area, we needed it to avoid droughts this summer, but it was ridiculous with a sheepdog!! Now this week we are having nothing but sun and I love it!! It will be in the 90's today and tomorrow, so Max is looking much better this week than last week!! This will be the first time he's been in this kind of heat, I'll keep him in during the hot period today, and I'm walking him in the morning and evening 8)
With 2 OES's the mud is everywhere! I have to mop the kitchen about 2 times a day when it rains! Don't even ask about the rug in the dining room, it needs replaced!!
Clyde would have a great time in my yard with the "pig brothers" Luke and Rosco  Rosco could find mud in the desert

I've given up on the kitchen floor. No sooner do I mop it, they go tearing through it after running in the mud. It looks terrible and I just don't care anymore!
ditto. With six.......well, between the muddy feet and the slobber with kibble time.....sigh.........

I keep thinking how nice it would be to have new carpeting especially in the bedrooms......sigh.

My mantra......when we have only one dog......well now that looks like it won't be for another 10 or so years..........sigh
Yep my boy loves to get dirty. Took him on his first camping trip and there was some snow patches around. Well you know what happened next. He attacked the snow with his 150 lb lab friend Gunner and then they both went running thru the dirt. When they were done Gunner looked fine but Winston looked like the creature from the black lagoon. I guess that you get use to messy muddy sheepies. Seem's like they all like to get dirty and the dirtier the better! Poop rollers to. Yuck!!!

Wow, that sounds like some big lab-- is he a mix? Or was he born in a nuclear waste area and suffered a serious bout of gigantism! My mom had a mutant giant Bouvier that got huge for no reason though so I know it is possible! The bigger the dog, the more mess to be made!
