OMG! I'm happy to hear Duffy is ok and you as well. Talk about taking a few years off your life. Just what you didn't need, to replace a window/door.
OMG! I am so glad he is ok! Scary!
holy cow!!! im glad youre both okay...scary!!
Poor Duffy!

At The Paw they have a huge garage door from the training center out into the Playground 1 and its all CLEAR PANELS. It lets in lots of light, but several panels have gotten broken out by dogs running into/through them. Now the lower row of panels have big brown paw-print decals on them!
Dude! Glad he's okay. :phew:

We have butterflies on the patio door... at eye and below eye level. Still, Bumble clunked his head on the closed door last night.... it was dark and he thought the door was open. Now searching for some that glow in the dark.

Can you remove the window from the frame? Wondering if you took it to a hardware store or other home-type store to have the glass replaced if it might be less expensive. My son had a window that broke this winter... it depends on the size but it was $45 to replace the glass.
8O 8O I'm glad all are OK!
I've lost a few screen doors and a door latch but never the glass 8O

That will teach you to stop washing those glass doors. Nose snarky prints have their use!
I purposely washed the window to remove the nose-art before I took the picture! 8)
Oh My! So glad that you and Duffy are ok! How scary that must have been for both of you! :ghug:
OHHH NOOOOO! I am so relieved he's OK!!!

Maybe paint 12 inches (or some such) of the bottom of the window so it's easy to see it is closed without eliminating the view? Or something like that?

Jaci, how much more can you do than the stickers? Sheeeesh. Sometimes ya just wanna hug them... to death.
That is scary. I am glad he is okay.
Holy wow!! What a possible nightmare! Glad he's ok. :phew: Put a pit in my stomach just thinking about it.
:twitch:
 That's why we just keep our windows filthy!!! Glad your boy is ok!
Yikes! I am happy you are both ok, that is scary. I never even thought of that, but we should look at something for our doors, or just keep them all nose marked and dirty!
Around here mostly the humans walk thru the screen doors, duh???

Scary thought about the dog going thru the glass.
Oh no! So glad he is ok! Scary!
The subject line made my stomach drop. Glad both of you are okay
Oh Duffy and his mom - so glad you are okay (hug) ! How scary that must have been for both of you!

This post scared the heck outta me and I'm so glad everyone is okay.
Duffy!!! You silly dog - scaring your mom and all your friends like this!!!! (okay that's the mom lecture bit)

I'm sorry about your door- hopefully it won't be very costly.
8O Oh my gosh! 8O

Ive honestly never dreamed of that happening! How thick was the glass? Im hoping that since you live in a warm climate that the window glass was not as thick and heavy as the sliding glass door we have :? :?:

Poor Duffy, and poor, poor you! :ghug: Im glad your both ok!

You can't see the other side of the patio door in that picture but it actually does have vinyl cling material specifically made for doors half way up the glass. I got both at Jo-Ann Fabric. You mist the door with water and then apply the vinyl. I took it off the butterfly side because the dogs like to look outdoors. Here's an older picture shortly after we had the patio door put in last summer...

I have been really tempted to get that film and put it on the bottom half of the big garden window

as the bunnies frolic right outside under the yard light and drive basset Harley :excited: BONKERS :excited:
at night....and you can't yell at a virtually deaf dog from bed to quiet him...you have to get up and get right in his face....
Dawn, that last pic of Chewie should be on a Missing you card or something! Priceless!

Suzptcruise, how are you holding up - did you manage to get your door fixed? How is Sir Duffy doing?

Marianne

Actually, that is my ever-growing 5 month old Bond! 8) 8)
Dawn, it did work as a visual bunny block. After we put the door in, Kobuck started fussing over the rabbits, squirrels or cats that came into yard at night. It stopped after I put the vinyl window cover up. Thankfully most of the excited, trying to scratch out the window behavior has subsided.

Good to know...and I will be getting it if they start up again this spring. They are evil bunnies, taunting the poor basset hound!
Oh gosh, glad he is ok! That's one of my biggest fears with Rude Dog.
Phew! I'm so glad he's OK! And I hope you are OK now. I can just imagine how scary that was. Big hugs to Duffy and his Mom!
Goodness gracious! A real-life Die Hard McClane-barefoot-walking-on-broken-glass scene! Glad to know you all are OK.
