kinda a grooming table

I dont have a grooming table YET, I told my husband thats what I want for Mothers Day, but Ryleigh needed to be shaved down. Its just to hot already here for her to have long hair. Although I wasnt supposed to do it myself till after Sheepiepalooza, my husband thinks all the other sheepies will laugh at her bad hair cut, I just couldnt wait any longer. Her panting on the bed at night was making me motion sick.

Since I have a bad lower back bending over to clip her kills me, so I dug out our old camping table. At first she wasnt real sure about it, its not very stable will a wiggle butt on it, but she soon settled down and did fine on it. Now at least I know she will do good on a real grooming table. :clappurple: Now I just have to wait till May. :?

my daughter was "helping" me. kinda.....

Looks like it works...bet it was kind of wobbly though!

Love that face on your helper....
oh, I remember the teenage daughter years. Mine are twins...27 is SO much better!
yes it was wobbly, but once she settled down it was good. She even laid on her back and let me trim her tummy. Only part she really hates is her front legs and feet, shes ok with her back feet. :lmt:

My daughter is 19, shes actually a pretty good helper most of the time. But we have had our teenage moments. Seem to be past them with this one and starting them with my 16 yr old daughter. I am ready for them all to get out of the teen years. My son is 13 and will graduate high school in June 2016-- Im counting down already!!!!! :clappurple:

Now that I know Ryleigh will get on a table and let me trim her Im requesting the pretty pink table ASAP!!! And maybe even a dryer. My husband hates the smell of wet dog in the house after their baths so that should be a easy sell.
Looks like a successful mission! You know, we made our grooming table and LOVE it - it is very sturdy . . . another option if you want to have some say in how it looks.

Looks like it worked pretty good! At least it saved your knees and your back from trying to work on the floor!
Jack is ...and Glacier was..too big for the grooming table. I always use the fold down table and put a inside the tub mat, or two, to prevent slips of the table's slip surface. Alas, I can't attach the holder bar so use DH instead. Better yet, we switch off duties, I do one side, he does the other. MO is easier on the smaller grooming table.
I put Brick on the kitchen table in the basement for grooming.
We never eat on it, so why not.

Believe me, Ryleigh will be WAY better looking than Zeke. You'll see.

And I hear you on the panting thing.
I kicked Brick out of the bedroom last week because his panting was too loud and was bouncing the bed. He's been banned to the kitchen/DR with cool porcelain tiles.

He gets groomed on the 31st. We'll see how he does after that.

I can't believe how hot it got and how fast it happened. 80 on Sunday, high 70s M & T, 82 today, 84 Th, 74 F, 70 Sa. He's in a very full winter coat right now.

OMG! I'm blinded by all this white! How on earth do you do it?

Sorry about the off topic, couldn't help it...
That's white!! Often hard to remember it is there. They have a knack for getting a bit......dusty??
