Chowder and Dahlia---Weekend together

We volunteered to watch Chowder this weekend while her mom and dad had to go on a trip.
I wanted to see how it would be to have 2 sheepies in our house. We have always wanted a second dog, but, I had to convince my other half that he would want to have 2 sheepies and not just 1 sheepie and 1 "other" dog.
Well, I think it worked, and by the end of the weekend....he said, he could see why I would want 2 sheepies. :phew:

Chowder is 2 and Dahlia is 1, so it made for some interesting playing! We found ourselves watching the dogs for hours instead of watching the movie we put on. We laughed at their silly antics.

I love the first picture. Laika and Langley always look like they are having conversations.
I'm glad to hear the baby sitting weekend went well. :D

It looks like the girls had a really good time!
Face to face is good, they were comfortable with each other. Abbott and Shane would be face to face and end up face chewing each other after dinner......very relaxing.

We too have enjoyed watching puppies play instead of TV. Alas, the last "players" were Glacier and siMOne......so 12 years ago.........sniff.
the one with her on the beanbag thing is funny.

Guess someone will be in the market for a puppy soon. :D

We had wanted a 2nd dog as well. But we ended up totally rejecting that idea. Instead we went with three dogs :P
David - were you always an over-achiever?

Love the pictures, looks like a fun weekend for everyone
uh oooooooo looks like puppy shopping do it asap 2 are so much fun!! or 3 if you are crazy like david lol
Quite honestly, I think a rescue OES may be our next love....

A puppy would be great.... but, I think we might have to give our love to an OES that really needs a great, loving home :)
Really cute pictures--Chowder's mom and dad must have been very relaxed on their trip knowing their baby was well cared for by another sheepie! :D
Be careful! Puppy sitting was what started us on the road toward getting 3 sheepies! Adorable pictures.
We are SOOOOO very thankful for everything. Shari and Brian made the weekend away so much easier.

And the picture of

made the family laugh all weekend.

We wish we had a yard so we can return the favor and watch Dahlia.

Chowder came home exhausted and looking for Dahlia at first. She didn't like to be alone.

Looks like the girls had a fun weekend!

I just ADORE the picture with the beanbag! I'm still laughing!!!
What is funny is that is a big red pillow on top of a quite deflated beanbag chair. She just crawled on it and passed out for at least an hour like that. I couldn't believe that she was able to position herself on it without falling off. We laughed so hard. She was so exhausted from playing with Dahlia, she just laid there. She also enjoyed crawling up into the lazy-boy chair while we were on it. She definitely is a bit of a sheepie lap dog! She was a pleasure to take care of..... and thanks again for the lambchop baby stuffie and the GIGANTIC bully sticks! Those were the biggest bully sticks I have ever seen in my life. Dahlia is certainly enjoying them.
