Baley-Baxter-Tonks and Luna had a nice romp and even little Murphy came out for a bit! We had a nice lunch and a wonderful visit. ![]() Adam and Allison took lots of pictures with her fabulous camera and she said she would post them tonight. I was so busy talking and visiting that I did not get pictures! They had only been gone about a half hour and the weather got really seriously bad. We are getting hit hard and I am hope that they are not encountering really bad weather on their way to St. Louis! The wonders of the internet--friends you would never have met! It was a fun day! |

That was great you guys could visit...and even better the weather cooperated so the dogs could all get out and run off some steam. ![]() ![]() I'm with you - hoping they are through the bad stuff and safely on the way to St Louis. I worked last night (overnight) and had to go to bed after being up all day and all night, but I did see that bad weather was back AGAIN in your neighborhood. ![]() ![]() |
Hoping the weather settles soon. While I bitch about our winds, at least they are straight, not twisting about in a cylinder! ![]() |
The tornado that flattened Harrisburg, IL a couple of days ago was only about 122 miles or 2.5 hours away from my old house in Valmeyer, IL. That's one thing I do not miss about the midwest. Glad the visit was good & can't wait to see pics. |
They are calling for 100 km/hr + winds here tonight....YIKES! |
I have been thinking of all of you that live above me in the middle part of the U.S. I am praying that tonight is not as bad as they think and all of us are telling funny OES stories! ![]() Everyone please check in tomorrow so we know everyone faired fine through the storms! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I was thinking about Allison and Adam in their travels yesterday with all the dangerous storm going on in the midsection of the country. My niece lives just outside Louisville and I know they were down in there basement for a good part of the day/night. Her husband is a volunteer for the Fire Department and was called up to the towns that where hit the worst in Indiana, during the night. I hope Allison and Adam are ok. |
