28 years!

When I was 16, I played the piano for this scrawny 15-year-old sophomore auditioning for the school musical, "Hello, Dolly!" A little voice in the back of my head said, "That's the guy you're going to marry." And a little voice in the front of my head said "No way! He's skinny, he's goofy, and he's younger than me!"

Four years later we started dating. A year after that, we were married. And here we are today, 28 years later, still going strong.

We've had our ups and downs (haven't we all?), seen each other through broken limbs and broken lives, and have always been able to talk things through (we've had our :roll: moments, but I can't remember an actual honest-to-goodness fight.)

He's still skinny (well, skinnier than me), still goofy, and still younger than me. And I wouldn't trade him for anything. Happy anniversary, hubby!
